Description

So about a year ago I started drawing, well drawing seriously, and well back then the first real digital drawing I did was a drawing of sakuya izayoi, a touhou univers character.

I was realy proud of it at the time, I had spent probably days on it... Well it's horrible, and I'm sure I will think the same of this one in one year.

So this will be some kind of messurement I guess.

...

yup. :meow:

I know the lineart isn't nearly perfect, but I got lazy after redrawing the same pose 5 times. Horray for speedlines!

First off; wow. With the constant stream of stuff I've seen from you, I didn't really notice how far you'd gone. I remember when you did that one in the link, and to be honest, when looking at that, and the newer one, it's really astonishing.

That said, my main problem with this is the arms, same as Ms. Nyne said. I'm sure you've noticed this too, but I'll give you my opinion on the matter anyway... I think her left arm (to the right in her picture, the folded one) works ok. just some minor tweaks and I wouldn't have anything to comment on it (I am not sure what these tweaks would be, but maybe move it out a bit from the bodym as it looks kinda glued to her as it is). Her right arm is hard for me to say what is wrong about, but my impression is that is a bit too clearly 2d 3d. In other words the 3d illusion is not entirely acquired. The hand seems to be positioned so that we get a flat image of it, straight from the front, while the arm seems a bit more pointed backwards.

All of that is simply intended to point things out, as I'm sure you know by now... I still think this pic is great even despite the "laziness" with the lines.
